PhD Student in Biological System Engineering
Md. Golam Kibria is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of California, Davis. He earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from RUET in 2017, achieving the highest academic distinction, and received both the Prime Minister's Gold Medal and the University Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance. He completed his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2023.
Mr. Kibria began his academic career as a Lecturer at RUET in 2019 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2022. His research interests include HVAC, Renewable energy systems, Biosystem engineering, and environmental sustainability. He has led and participated in several funded research projects focusing on thermal energy storage, hybrid nanofluids, and the performance of solar stills.
He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production, ACS Energy & Fuels, Solar Energy, and Biomass and Bioenergy, and has contributed significantly to the fields of renewable energy and sustainable thermal systems.
