PhD Student
Muhammad Kashif is a Ph.D. student at the CEE-Lab in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Prior to joining the CEE-Lab, he served as a lecturer at the Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture in Multan, Pakistan. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Bahauddin Zakariya University, also located in Multan, Pakistan.
Kashif's research is dedicated to advancing energy efficiency within Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) through employing simulation and experimentation techniques. He is highly motivated in exploring the ways towards sustainable agricultural practices. His current project involves the integration of agrivoltaics into agricultural greenhouses, assessing their influence on microclimates and potential contribution to energy management.
