Bio

Dr. Yi is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at UC Davis. His research focuses on greenhouse microclimate modeling and energy-efficient ventilation design using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental measurements. His work examines airflow, heat transfer, and cooling performance to improve growing conditions and reduce energy consumption in controlled environment agriculture. He also explores applying digital twin technologies to support real-time monitoring, simulation, and environmental control in CEA systems.
