Controlled Environment Engineering (CEE) Lab

Zhian Li is a Masters Student in the CEE lab at UC Davis, majoring in Biological Systems Engineering and
Economics. His current research focuses on modeling and predicting water and nutrient consumption
by plants in distinctive hydroponic systems. His work is pivotal for optimizing plant growth conditions
and ensuring the sustainability of hydroponic agricultural practices. Zhian is also exploring research in the
detection and diagnosis of sensor anomalies within hydroponic systems, specifically in Controlled
Environment Agriculture.
